Every user has an Employee Profile containing basic data like name, email address, hiring date, and manager, as well as a complete record of their activity.
Employee profiles are visible to all users, though of course not all of an employee's activity is visible to every user. For example, if you visit your direct manager's profile page, you'll be able to see the 1:1 Meetings you participated in together and public Praises they have received, but you won't see their performance reviews.

Accessing a profile
Access an employee profile by finding them on your Directory page, or by searching their name in the lower left.
Filter for the activity type and timeframe that you're interested in.
Editing a profile
Note: if you use an HRIS integration to manage employee data, you’ll need to make all edits via your HRIS and cannot edit profiles manually.
Employees can update their own preferred name, pronouns, photo, and bio, but by default, other fields can only be changed by HR Admins.
Use the Edit button in the upper right to make changes.

To give employees the power to edit their own profile information, go to Admin > Settings > User Management Settings.

Hidden profile fields
The Employment type and Termination type fields are only visible to HR Admins.
The Pronoun field is only visible to HR Admins and the employee themself.
If the employee has entered a Preferred Name, the “First Name” field will not be displayed to other users.
Attachments
You can attach documents to employee profiles for easy reference. For example, you may find it helpful to attach job descriptions or past performance reviews from external tools.
Attachments can be either public or protected. Public files are to all other users. Protected files are visible only to the employee, their direct and indirect managers, and HR Admins/Assistants.
The employee, HR Admins/Assistants, and the employee’s direct manager can upload documents.
The employee, HR Admins, and the employee’s direct manager can delete documents.
Attachments are accessible via the Helpful Resources sidebar for easy reference when writing a performance review, preparing a meeting agenda, etc.
Exports
Click the Export Data button in the upper right to generate a PDF file containing the user's Performance Reviews, Anytime Feedback, 360 Feedback, and Objectives. (Praise and 1:1 Meetings are not included.)
Toggle the eyeball icons to exclude content you don't need before clicking Print.
Employees can export their own profiles; HR Admins can export all users' profiles.
