Updating your annual subscription

Learn how to add users and update your license count on an annual plan. Follow our step-by-step guide to manage your subscription and avoid service interruptions

As your company grows, you can easily add more employees to your Small Improvements account. This guide covers how to increase your license count while on an annual plan to ensure your team has uninterrupted access.

Accessing your subscription settings

To manage your billing and licenses, you must have Admin permissions.

  1. Click the Admin menu in the sidebar.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Click the License and Payment tab.

Increasing your license count

When you need to add seats to an existing annual plan, follow these steps:

  1. Click Change Subscription.

  2. On the subscription details screen, enter the total number of seats you now require (your current seats plus the new ones).

  3. Review the prorated price that appears as you adjust the number.

  4. Click Next to reach the Subscription Summary.

  5. Review the cost adjustments and click to finalize the payment.

Note: For annual plans, we charge a prorated cost for new users for the remainder of your current billing cycle. On your next renewal date, you will be charged the full annual amount for the new total seat count.

Troubleshooting license limits

If you receive a notification that you have exceeded your license limit, it means there are more active users in your account than your subscription allows.

  • Review the Directory: Check your active user list to see if any former employees need to be deactivated.

  • Add seats: If all active users are current employees, follow the steps above to increase your license count.

Tip: Make sure to review the Subscription Summary carefully before finalizing to ensure the seat count and prorated totals match your expectations.
