The AI Writing Assistant helps you write clearer, more impactful reflections and feedback. Whether you’re evaluating your own growth or supporting a teammate, the assistant acts as a built-in coach to strengthen your message and make it more actionable.
You can choose how you’d like the AI to support you: refine your wording or coach you on how to improve your feedback.

Look for the ✨ AI button in the top-right corner of the text editor.
How it works
Start writing your feedback as you normally would.
Click the ✨ AI button.
Choose between the following options:
Refine: rewrites your feedback
Coach: provides general suggestions
Review the output. If using Refine mode, you have the option to:
Insert the suggested text as-is.
Edit the suggested text further.
Regenerate the suggested text.
Keep the original version.
Tip: The AI works best when you’ve already written a few specific sentences. The more context you provide, the more helpful the suggestions will be.
Refine vs. Coach: What’s the difference?
Refine
Choose Refine when you want help improving how your feedback is written.
The AI will:
Clarify wording
Improve tone and professionalism
Strengthen structure
Make insights more actionable
This option keeps your original intent while making the message clearer and more polished.
Coach
Choose Coach when you want guidance on how to improve the quality of your feedback.
Instead of rewriting your text, the AI will:
Assess strengths and gaps
Highlight areas that could be more specific
Suggest adding measurable outcomes or examples
Recommend ways to increase clarity and impact
This is especially helpful if you want to strengthen your feedback skills over time.
What the AI focuses on
The assistant improves clarity and structure. It does not invent content for you. It helps with:
Actionability – Turning general comments into clear next steps
Objectivity – Supporting a balanced, professional tone
Structure – Organizing feedback so it’s easier to understand and act on
This helps ensure your feedback is constructive, credible, and useful.
Note: You are always in control. The AI does not "learn" from or store your writing. It is a private, session-based helper designed to assist you in the moment.
