Using Praise in Small Improvements makes it easy to celebrate wins, boost team morale, and foster a culture of recognition. This article covers how to create and send praise, manage privacy settings, view past recognition, and export praise data.

Creating and sending praise

Sending praise takes just a few clicks and is a great way to highlight individual or team accomplishments.

  1. Click the + button in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen and select the Praise feature from the menu.

  2. Select the badge that best fits the occasion.

  3. Select the person or group of people you want to praise.

  4. Write your message in the text field.

  5. Click Send Praise.

Tip: At times, you may wish to recognize a team member who went above and beyond in a sensitive situation. In this case, you can choose to only share Praise with specific coworkers, such as the person receiving praise and her manager. For this, you can alter the visibility to "Specific coworkers."

Viewing Praise

You can find and read public praise in a few different places, depending on what you are looking for.

  • Praise wall: Select the Praise option from the main menu to see all public praise across your company.

  • User profile: Navigate to a specific teammate's profile page to view the praise they have received or given.

  • Slack: If your organization uses our Slack integration, all public praise posts are sent directly to your designated Slack channel.
