AI-powered Cycle Summaries help you to identify common themes and trends across a review cycle or a subset of a review cycle. This is a great way to generate high-level insights to share with senior leaders.
How to Generate Summaries
First, use the Search menu on the cycle overview page to filter for the reviews you want analyzed. For example, you may wish to generate targeted summaries for each department (by filtering by Department), or you may wish to summarize findings among your top and bottom performers (by filtering by Reviewer Rating).
If you want an analysis of the entire cycle, you can skip this step.
Next, navigate to the "Summary" tab and select the analysis type.
Common Themes: summarizes common strengths and weaknesses
Inappropriate Language: flags reviews containing language that is derogatory or unprofessional, such as curse words, stereotyping, and dismissive or demoralizing tone
Group Training Opportunities: highlights opportunities for professional development to address skill gaps
Gender Gap Analysis: checks for gender bias in feedback and identifies patterns that may warrant closer investigation
Best Practices
If the Inappropriate Language or Gender Gap Analysis prompts identify any particularly problematic reviewers or teams, you can filter your results and re-run the analysis on only that reviewer or team for a more targeted summary.
If you uncover any reviews that need to be revised, you can unshare them and extend deadlines (individually or in bulk).
Consider turning your Common Themes and Group Training Opportunities into Company Objectives to keep them top of mind and encourage employees to set goals in alignment with those priorities.
