Anytime Feedback gives employees a flexible way to ask for feedback outside of a formal feedback cycle or to provide feedback when it's requested. You can choose who contributes, what you'd like feedback on, and when the feedback is shared.
Create a Feedback Request
Click the + icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Select Anytime Feedback.
Select Request Feedback.
You'll automatically be added as the Reviewee
Add a topic and introduce your request.
Choose your reviewers. Clicking into the search bar to see relevant colleagues, such as your teammates and manager. Select the + icon to open your organization chart, where you can select teams or groups of reviewers.
Create your questionnaire. You can add free-text or scale questions, customize the suggested questions, or choose from premade questionnaire templates created by your HR team. Templates give you a useful starting point while still allowing you to tailor the questions to the feedback you need.
Choose anonymity and visibility settings. Your HR team may have configured default visibility settings, including HR visibility. Depending on your organization's setup, you can also choose what your manager can see.
Set a deadline and reminder. Choose a deadline for reviewers to complete their feedback. You can also configure an automatic email reminder for reviewers who haven't responded. By default, the reminder is sent two days before the deadline, but you can adjust the timing.
Choose when feedback is released. You can receive feedback as soon as each reviewer submits it, or have all responses released together after the deadline.
Review your setup. Check the summary of your feedback request, then complete the setup when everything looks right.
Tip: Give reviewers some context in your introduction. A clear topic and a few focused questions can help them provide more useful, actionable feedback.
Emails Sent to Reviewers
When you send a feedback request, reviewers receive an email containing your introductory note, the deadline, and a direct link to the questionnaire.
If a reviewer hasn't submitted their feedback before your configured reminder date, they'll receive a reminder email with a direct link to the questionnaire. The reminder doesn't include the original introduction.
Provide Requested Feedback
If someone requests feedback from you, you'll see a task on your homepage inviting you to provide it.
Open the feedback request from your dashboard or the link in your email.
Review the questions included in the request.
Add your feedback.
Submit your responses when you're ready.
The experience is similar to providing feedback as part of a 360° Feedback cycle.
View Your Requested Feedback
Requested Feedback and 360° Feedback appear together in your personal Feedback area.
When you can see requested feedback depends on the release setting chosen when the request was created. Feedback may become available as soon as an individual reviewer submits it, or after the deadline, when the feedback is released together. Once the feedback has been released to you, you're the owner of the request.
Edit or Delete a Feedback Request
You can edit certain details of a feedback request you created, such as its topic or deadline. You can also delete the request.
Note: Consider whether reviewers have already started working on their responses before deleting a request. Deleting it may remove work they've already spent time preparing.
HR Visibility Into Requested Feedback
HR can see that feedback has been requested from the Company screen.
HR can also configure default visibility settings for requested feedback. These settings can determine whether HR has visibility into feedback requests and their responses.
